The House On The Corner

You walk off ignoring anything that Sam has to say, when something sharp and prickly grabs you from behind. You stop where you are, afraid of what might happen next, when you hear a giggle. Sam is standing there holding an old stick out to your shoulder. You are so mad for his having scared you, that you walk off without another word. You figure you have had enough and are ready to go home. They can find someone else to look over this house, you are through. Sam is upset that you want to leave, but what other choice does he have. It's no fun to explore a house alone, now is it?
