Jezirea simply stood there, unable to do much with an arrow pointed right at her heart.
The man kept his bow trained on her as he called out to his comrades, who came quickly.

Carefully, they restrained Jezirea and lifted her out of the hole. When that was done, the supposed leader approached her once more.
"We were just going to rob you, but now we're going to have to take so much more," he said, his voice hard and remorseless.
Jezirea had a couple ideas of what he meant by 'more' and she didn't like any of them.

They walked through the woods for a while, Jezirea kept on a short rope leash, before they came to a small clearing where a number of horses had been restrained.
The group of bandits began to mount their horses, and Jezirea was thrown across one of the animal's backs.
They began riding, to where, Jezirea had no idea.
It couldn't be good.

However, after a while, the group turned off on to a small path that ran through dense forest. This could be a good chance to escape. The horses wouldn't be able to travel between the trees, and if she slipped off now, the bandits would have to stop and disembark before they could give chase.
