Heroes in a Half Shell

You head out into the tunnels, on a quest to locate Michaelangelo and give him a piece of your mind. Aside from that, he may need a friendly warning to keep him out of trouble. Maybe if it comes from a friend, he will take it seriously. But does he take anything seriously? You think back on the day he cooked a pizza in the microwave that resulted in the spawning of three terrible monsters which attempted to attack New York; he had more wise cracks than a Monty Python film.

You exit the dojo and walk on into a side tunnel. You hear someone running to catch up behind you. It's probably Leonardo, you figure, rolling your eyes. He's probably got some sort of big-brother advice. He takes his role as a leader too seriously and it can sometimes annoy you. He's a good guy and all, but you can't stand his assumed authority.

He reaches you a moment later, placing a hand on your shoulder. "Donatello." He says.

You don't stop walking, but you do reply. "What is it, Leo?"

He walks beside you now. "Master Splinter is pissed..." He says.

"So I've noticed." You reply.

"I never figured you were the type." He says to you.

"Well I'm actualy not the type." You tell him. "I haven't been smoking anything."

"You can't just deny it, Don. The first step on the path to recovery is to admit to what you have done." Leonardo tells you as though you asked for his advice. Damn it, he pisses you off sometimes. Who the fuck asked him, anyway?

The two of you walk along in silence for a little while; he introspective and thoughtful, you infuriated and fuming. The silence is eventualy broken by your talkative and authoritative friend.

"Where are you headed?" He asks. You can tell from his tone that he thinks you are off to smoke refer.

"I'm looking for someone." You reply vaguely.

"Who for?" He asks. What is this, some sort of inquisition?! An interrogation?! Was he going to inject you with truth serum before continuing with his barrage of questions?!

You stop walking and face him. You figure you might as well tell him. "For Michaelangelo, dammit. I walked in my laboratory this morning to find him in there with Casey. They were smoking pot."

"Why didn't you tell Master Splinter about that?" He asks you.

"I did. He didn't believe me." You tell him.

"Damn." Leonardo says. "He'll be kicked out of the turtles ninja squad if Splinter finds the truth in this."

"I know." You say. "That's why I'm looking for him. I need to warn him. Maybe if he hears it from a friend, we can get through to him."

"Wow." He says to you. "I'm sorry I assumed you were smoking the marijuana."

There is a bit of awkward silence shared between you before Leonardo speaks again.

"You want me to come with you?" He asks.
