"Good." He says to you. "I was afraid I was going to have to kill you." He takes a deep breath. "I take it you're after the evil monks who reside here as well?"
You nod.
"Excellent. They have attacked the dreams of my village and none can sleep without being overtaken and controlled by the monks while we sleep. I myself have gone without sleep for days. It is driving me mad. But if I sleep, they will control me until I wake."
"Damn." You say.
"Damn indeded." He says.
"So what are you waiting for?" You ask. "Why haven't you attacked them already?"
"We must wait for night fall where they will be too buzy puppeteering peoples dreams to notice us entering."
Us... When did it become "us". Do you tell him there is no us, and that you have no intention of attacking a bunch of crazy dream controlling monks? Or do you just go along with it?
