Heart of an Assassin
If you want to kill the person who murdered your family, you will have to learn to fight dirty. You are sure that the best way of doing so would be to become a thief, and learn all of the supposedly dishonest ways of fighting an opponent.
The only problem is, there are no thieves in your village. You will have to travel into a larger city to find a thief to train under.
You are not frightened of travelling like some members of your village are. Ignoring Mrs. Tomoe's pleas for you to stay, you pack some supplies, and pick up your dagger that, surprisingly, wasn't destroyed in the fire.
After a long rest, you decide to set out the next morning.
Standing outside the village, you can see two ways that you can go. To the left is a dense forest, and to the right are smooth plains.
Which way do you want to go?
