Futurestar - Edd's AD&D

"Squad control, fire hazard eliminated, repeat fire hazard eliminated!" booms a Law officer as you peek from a rusted dumpster. The sound of sirens echoes in the dark alley way with shouts and cries as Law vehicles swarm the streets.
You then look up to the dark grey sky and stare at the chimneys of fumes that pierce the clouds, contaminating them with poisons. What a horrible world you think, as you sit down on the charred rubble.
Suddenly you hear the sirens fade and assuming that the law officers have gone you get up cautiously and move onto the alleyway. You stare at the building before you. This had once been the greatest building in the slum exterior of capital, this once had been your only home, and here you were raised as an orphan by a merchant couple as your parents. But all you see here is charred rubble with steam rising from the hot metal plating that was the roofing. It was the best you could afford in the slums and only luxury came from the main capital.
Then a tear comes to your eye as your brain has thoughts of sadness, fear............and revenge!
Revenge against those who have this world,those who have ruined your life, the Tamata's gang.
Wiping the tear from your face, you look around in the twilight alleyway. There is one broken lamp illuminating the alleyway dimly, and smell of garbage wafts from the concrete slum floor. In front of you a door has been left slightly ajar, going to the building opposite your house.
On your left you see the alleyway open into a main street. From there you can see the huge gates which seperate the slums from the main sector.
On your right you can see the alleyway extend into pitch-blackness. All you can hear are the sound of of much noise coming from there, perhaps a crowd.
You then look at the items in your bag. You have a dagger, a notepad and 50 Mecharans.

During the story, you will be asked to store notes in your notepad. The notepad is basically an item which cannot be removed and when you are asked to keep a note of something, simply copy the words with * around them, (example: *The green rose*, copy the green rose). These words will come in handy during the game.
