You're exhausted. You lie on the soft bed and look up into the evening sky. The pale light from the full moon is filtered through light evening cloud, though the window and onto the bed. Soon you are sleeping soundlessly.
In the middle of the night your eyes shoot open when you hear a howl. It's wolf country, but for some reason you get a shiver up your spine that leaves you cold. You soon drift back off the sleep but a bit later you wake again when you hear the sound of glass breaking.
