The Sealed Princess of Five Fates
I wave my hand around like I'm airing out a glass of wine, and my sword appears as a red mist, surrounding my hand until the particles materialize into a five-foot-long silver blade with a cherry-blossom-colored handle. This was Farious, my weapon of choice.
"A fresh fight!" I shriek as I leap from my throne and down the stairs towards them. They're stunned for a few seconds, but as I get within 10 yards of them, they stumble into fighting positions. The mage takes the left side of her companions and starts chanting a spell. From the purple color emanating from the orb at the end of her wand, I imagine it's either a druid spell or a mixed elemental one. Beside her in the middle, the man in the barrel holds up his axe, his feet spread apart in a defensive stance. And finally the knight... actually looks frightened, trying his best to form a battle stance like his cohort, but with his shaking legs, he has to keep repositioning himself as to not accidentally do a split.
Seeing my opportunity, I swerve to the left and go to slice the knight. Farious tastes metal, but instead of it being the knight's armor I was targeting, it was his sword. Somehow this cheeky dandelion drew his sword at the last moment, blocking my massive blade with his seemingly ordinary one. I don't linger on this too much as I see the barrel man's axe blade rushing towards me on the left, most likely there to separate my body from my head, which I am quite attached to. I jump back seconds before it makes contact with my neck. I take a second to catch my breath. Where was the mage?
I hear a familiar skeletal cry and turn my head around to see Skelp held up in the air by a glowing purple aura. The aura was leaking from the staff carried by the mage. That damn mage just trapped my favorite pastime. The mage looks over to me and smirks. This is not looking good.
