The Sealed Princess of Five Fates

A sudden blood lust comes over me.

"You say we have intruders, Captain Skelp?" I ask, a harsh tone in my voice.

I rise from my throne and walk down the white marble steps, my footsteps echoing in the large room.

Skelp takes a step back to avoid being knocked over as I reach the bottom of the stairs.

"Y-yes, your majesty, it would seem so," He stuttered in a shrill voice. "Would you like me to gather the troops, your highness?"

I stood beside him, he was about a foot shorter than me, but that was never out of the ordinary. I did have some demon blood coursing through me. And who knew any short people with demon blood? Unheard of.

"That won't be necessary," I tell him. "I think I'll handle this one personally."

And I don't give him a second to reply before I make a mad dash towards the main entrance to the throne room. I run past the open doors and into a long hallway. Rushing through the hall, I see the blurs of ancient artifacts lining the walls and open doorways go past me. It had been a while since I ran like this, at full speed. But I was eager to meet my new foes. My plans for revenge should be underway, but a quick nibble of human retribution was what I needed. Suddenly, I hear voices from up ahead.

"I can't believe I'm stuck watching you!" The first person says. It sounded like a woman's voice.

It was followed by a voice that sounded like Skelp, but slightly deeper.

"Well, you don't actually have to," the second voice said. "Let me go, and you never have to watch me again, easy as that. By the way, do you hear footsteps?"

As I reached the end of the hallway, I see the source of the two voices: A woman in a black ninja suit, and a human skull floating in the air.
