Wilf may have ... overestimated.
I mean, the gangs in Emilyville are tough, but they're still stuffed animals. They don't like drugs, drugs are scary. So when Wilf offers to sell them some, they report him to the BOPD (Bo police department) immediately.
The police give Wilf choice, he can go to court, where he will definitely lose because WIlf won't lie. Or, he can plead guilty and get only 1 year in jail, which is pretty lenient. Wilf feels he has no choice, and decides to plead guilty.
