After some time, Damocles had fallen asleep. Rennala leaned over and whispered in his ear just to make sure, but he didn't respond.
"Anybody in there?"

"Hehe good boy. Sleep for your owner, you earned it"
As nice as it was to have her pet resting in her lap, she couldn't be his pillow all day. She had things to do. She slowly lifted his head from her thighs and slid out from underneath. Her leg had gone numb, but it was fine. She placed Azathoth underneath his head as a pillow and pulled the blanket up over him. She dropped the key to his cuffs into the cup on the shelf and then knelt down beside him.
"You did so good today Pet! You made it through the worst of the trainin. Well, as far as the ballbusting goes hehe. Nighty night"
She had a final look over him before she got up and went about her day.
