That river in Egypt

"Alright Pet, get your clothes on and meet me in the livingroom"
Rennala had already left the room by the time he went to respond, so he just did as she said. He was glad to finally get clothes on and be out of the cold. It was difficult passing the shirt and pants through the cuffs but he managed. When he was ready, he made his way into the livingroom.

"Heya Pet"
"Hello Miss Rennala..."
It still felt unnatural to call her 'Miss'. It still felt like it placed her above him, but he was slowly getting used to it. She didn't have any more tasks for him today. She had already pushed him a lot for his first day, she wanted to let the progress settle and normalise in his brain. She didn't want to push him too far, and she knew that he was in for a really tough day tomorrow so she was trying to get a little bit of bonding in before.
"You've completed your tasks for today, it's time for both of us to relax. So Pet, I'll offer you a rare choice. You can either sit and talk with me until the food I ordered gets here, or I'll let you watch TV. How would you like to wind down for the night?"
He wanted his phone, he wanted to go home. He wanted to be uncuffed and uncaged, but those weren't the options that she was offering.
