Nightmare
Ah, you have chosen to stay with me. Good choice, young one. Your decision should be rewarded. Now, let's go.
The man turns out to be your long-lost dad, who had been missing for over 10 years. You get into his car, and they decide to head toward the closest shelter.
"So, dad, where have you been?" - you say.
"It's a long story, kid. Me and your mom, we haven't gotten along ever since the championship."
"So, you won a ring at 26 and then left? What's up with that??"
"Yeah, about that. Your mom cheated. That's it, plain and simple. She brought over your stepdad and apparently they had another child, your brother. I was left out. She hated me, even though I was her true love."
"Wow. I wonder why I didn't stay with you?"
"It wouldn't have been good. You would've easily been stolen."
Your dad was a star baseball player who played for the Boston Red Sox for all of the time you knew him. After this talk, he went into detail about what was going on with him. He revealed that after winning the World Series in 2018, he got traded to the Dodgers before 2020.That's right, your dad is the one and only Mookie Betts.The (former) star baseball player who Dodgers fans adore and who everyone else hates.
You and Betts are driving when you ask, "How did you know that the explosion was going to happen?"
"It's a coincidence. I was really referring to the fact that your stepdad was dead on the floor in your parents' room, but that's besides the point. I didn't kill them, though. I'm being serious. Remember how your mom died while trying to have your eventual sister? Yeah, that idiot got so mad about it that he ended it all."
"Wow. Anyways, so what are we going to do about the attacks?"
"We're here. Follow me, bud."
You get out of the car to follow Mookie. You're at some kind of shop with a whole bunch of black objects that resemble guns.
"I got you, kid. You, I'll take you to the airport. Go fly back to Nashville and stay with Grandma and Grandpops. I'm going out. You might never see me again, so before we leave, I just want to say, I love you kid."
Now saddened, you sit in silence on the way to the airport.
"Here's your stuff."
You thank him, say your (possibly) final goodbye, and go through security. Mookie goes back out into the unknown.
You're now alone at 2:15 AM, and you still technically have school tomorrow.
You get through security safely and are now in the duty free zone. Now, you have to book your flight. Which airline will you choose?
While we're here, I will introduce some "needs" stats. The needs are food, water, fun, and restroom. You gain/lose points in these categories based on the actions you do. Basically, if you get too low on any of these stats, something bad happens. Basically, if it gets too low you die, so try not to get the categories too low. The higher the number for a stat, the better.
Needs:
Food - 50 (Not that hungry, but not full)
Water - 50 (Not that thirsty, but not full)
Fun - 25 (Pretty bored)
Restroom - 50 (Nothing notable is happening here)
