Doors and More Doors

No surprises inside, either. The Pac-Man set is just as you left it, with no one to play with. You step inside and think about the journey you've taken. You have beaten acid pools and escaped a crazy forest full of sounds. Sounds... wait, what was that?? All of a sudden, you hear a snicker, and the door to the shack slams shut on you. You try to open it, but it's no use. Then, you hear a voice.

"Sorry, dude, I had no choice," the voice says, sounding quite unapologetic. "The kings will see you now." You stand frozen, utterly confused about what is unraveling before you. It's pitch black and the only thing that you can see is the smidgen of light coming from the cracks of the doorframe. You thought you were all alone. You attempt to pry the door open, but it's no use. It's jam locked tight. You open your mouth to speak, but then the door jumps open. It's weird how the second you took your hands off of the door, it opened, but you think it's best not to dwell on that. Besides, the more pressing thing is the elf in front of you. Yeah, an elf. He's got a short, stubby brown beard and thick, bushy eyebrows. His eyes are thin and it doesn't seem as though he has any teeth. The elf smiles at you. Oh wait, THERE are the teeth. They're just a bit small. Because they're elf teeth.

He throws a rope at you. "Just tie your arms together and we'll be on our way," he sings.
