Disguised Amongst Mortals

Every day, you wake up to a mediocre day in your mediocre life. It's not that you hate your life, per se; it's just incredibly repetitive. And although repetition helps strengthen memory, it also makes life dull. You're certain that if you were smart and bored enough, you could guess the exact amount of time it takes for you to finish your morning routine and head to school.

But life is by no means sad! You're usually seen with a smile on your face and a pep in your step come rain or shine or even the occasional snow.

Like your life, your grades are also average. Your parents usually look at each other when they think you're not watching, but you see the glances and choose to ignore it. What good could come from it anyway?

You live with your mother, father, and older sister. Your oldest brother is out of the house already — somewhere across the globe, you'd imagine; you haven't heard from him in months but you know how much he hates being home — and your annoyingly perfect sister makes your life hell. It's not that you hate her, but then again, you wouldn't mind if she tripped down the stairs and broke her arm.
