I sat and waited in my squad car for the prick to come out. Finally I caught a glimpse of the red convertable pulling away from the docks. I followed close behind him but far enough not to be noticed until I wanted to be seen.

I followed O'Mally downtown. Downtown, a place like I knew like the back of my hand. I knew every dark corner, especially the ones that were silent.

With a quick snatch of my hand I drew the blade from my belt and slashed across his wrist that held the license. He screamed like a girl. I grabbed him by his neck and pulled him out from the car as blood drained down his arm from the inflicted wound.
