Diaries of a Serial Killer
July 7, 2004[I]
Today I awoke and opened the paper. There was the headline of what had happned last night. "Another Found Dead" read the headline on the front page. I read further down the article. It had been written that the man found dead was a lead suspect of the kidnapping ude to a message left stuck to the victim's head. He had also been reported as being #8 in a series of vengeful serial killings done by the same person. The news reporter had nicknamed the killer, myself, as 'The Punisher.' I laughed to myself, I was no different from anyone else, all I was and ever will be is an Officer of the Law, eliminating those from society who need not be.
I drove to the station later that afternoon when my afternoon shift began. The Captain had advised all officers to be on the look out for Jacob O'Mally. He had been transporting drugs in from the main port of the bay and shipping them to the streets. I didn't care too much of the scum that had purchased from him, but a lot who did buy sold to kids in school. I made a mental note to seek out this O'Mally and find him before anyone else.
