It's marvellous to grow!

Jason's eyes fell on a store that was selling jewelery. Normally things like cheap jewellery wouldn't interest him, but since the pretty metals and gemstones glittered in the sun, beckoning him to come closer, he went to take a look.

"See anything that interests you, Mr. Jason Olmond?" he heard a creaky voice ask him.

Jason saw that it belonged to an elderly, short man leaning over the counter. On closer inspection, he had some oddities when it came to his features, like a slightly green skin and pointed ears, but Jason knew it was rude to stare.

"Hmm, I'm just browsing," he said before he realised something, "H-how do you know my name?"

"Oh, I know plenty of things about my customers as soon as they enter my shop," the little old man said, "And I know you are lost in life searching for a purpose, or just some excitment to spice up youe mundane life. It's a good thing i have just the thing for you."

Jason was a bit creeped out that he knew his situation so perfectly, but at the same time he was intrigued by what the old man had to offer.

"What is it?" he asked and the old man smiled, taking out a small box from his pocket and setting it down on the counter.

He opened it, revealing a ring inside. "Don't worry boy, I'm not proposing to you," said the old man jokingly, "What I'm offering, though, is a magic ring."

"A magic ring?" said Jason, both suprised and skeptical.

"Yup, it can grant any wish you desire," explained the old man, "But keep in mind it has a colldown period of 24 hours."

Magic ring? Was this guy joking?

"How much does it cost?" Jason asked.

"50 bucks, but I'll give you it for 40 instead," said the old man with a bright smile.

What did Jason do?
