"Wait...where is the rune?" Mila asked as Morgana had brought it up.
The other two realized what Mila meant as they realized the rune was not in either of their hands as they looked around. They all knew they couldn't have misplaced the thing that easily, but as they searched the room, they couldn't find a trace of it.
"Blast it...and all the trouble I went through to get it. Eating all those damn sweets.' Morgana hissed.
"Eat....oh...I just had a thought." Tam-Tam said with a groan. "Morgana asked the cookies to finish the meals and either return to the jar or enter our mouths. So...here's a thought, what if while one was holding the rune while we ate?"
"You mean...that thing is inside one of our stomachs right now?" Mila asked as Tam-Tam nodded.
"Must be payback for what I did to their kind in that strange little world of theirs. But...how do we figure out which of us ate it?" Morgana asked.
"Well the rune is magical. I assume we just have to wait and see which of us starts being affected by it." Tam-Tam said as they stood there for a bit, watching and waiting.
