Growth and Grit

You decide that the teacher knows best and that you should start reading and writing in your journal for 30 minutes a day. And as you start reading and writing about what you read, the blessings start pouring in. You watch as your testimony of Christ, his teachings, and his church on the earth today grow and expand in ways you would never have thought. You start to learn more from your mission prep teacher's stories, you begin to pray more earnestly, and you begin to cry more (and I'm 100% sure that's from the Holy Ghost)! As the semester comes to a close you can see that there were times when you forgot to read your scriptures and you can see that those times were worse than the times you didn't read your scriptures. But now you have worked on your goals and become a lot more like Jesus Christ. You find yourself loving others more and having more abounding love for others (even your enemies!). Now, though you are not completely prepared to serve a mission (because no one can ever be totally prepared), you are so much more ready to serve the lord abroad! Now you can go and work on other talents of yours.
