Kamp Kuma
“Well then. That was fucked up.” Ronnie said as the group walked towards the dining hall together.
I nodded, still processing what had just happened. After voting, Monokuma was muttering something about being unable to do an execution, whatever that meant. Probably nothing good.
“I’ll get my stuff out of my room. Go get your stuff.” Ronnie said to be, before grinning and dashing off.
I was unable to grin back. I could have died today, three people tried to kill me! We’re also in a killing game?! What kind of a sick, twisted person would host something like this?
Quincy ran over to me, wanting to walk to my cabin with me. “If you think about it, Danger, your Ultimate saved your life.”
I glanced at her, confused.
She continued,”If you hadn’t twisted your ankle earlier, you would be dead.”
I paused to think,”Huh. I guess you’re right.”
“But I wanted to ask, are you okay? Like really okay?”
I shook my head.
Quincy frowned, but didn’t say anything. What can you say to someone who was almost murdered by their roommates? There, there?
Behind us, we heard the other’s talking.
“Actually, Blake, I was wondering.” Ivy started to say,”What disadvantage did Monokuma give you?”
“I can’t go inside any Ultimate Labs! Or I’ll die!”
“Yikes, that’s brutal.” Ryori commented.
“Yeah, it’s awesome!” Blake responded cheerfully. I don’t think he knows what brutal means.
“Danger.” A voice said. I turned, it was Kowai. Why was he talking to me? Didn’t he think I’m a bad omen or something? I stopped to see what he wanted, Quincy stopped as well. “Doro stole my pamphlet.” Kowai waved his doomsday pamphlet around. “He put something of yours inside.”
I was thinking it was a pack of band aids or some velcro, but instead, Kowai held out a pretty gold pocket watch. The cover was an emerald green. It was super cool looking, but it certainly wasn’t mine. “Err, thanks Kowai, but that might be someone else’s.”
“No.” He shook his head. “It’s not. It was a gift.”
“From who?” I asked.
Kowai shrugged,”I don’t know. I thought you would, it was given to you after all.”
“By who? The shadow people?”
Kowai’s eyes widened in a panic,”The shadow people.” He whispered. “They aren’t shadows.”
“Oh.” Was all I could say. What was I supposed to say to that? He didn’t seem to mind, he was already walking away. Kowai was strange. I glanced at Quincy, who shrugged. I placed the pocketwatch into my pocket, I’d get a better look at it later.
I have a strange feeling that even though Ronnie is switching rooms with me, this place isn’t about to get any safer.
