FNDN 201
Bobby ignores the bullies and walks to class. The bullies take note of how Bobby decided to ignore the injustice and continue with his life. The bullies leave the man on crutches alone, and approach Bobby.
The first bully yells at Bobby, "Why aren't you helping this guy?"
Bobby replied, "I already held the door open for him! Is that not enough good deeds for one day?"
Another bully speaks, "No! We must keep actively seeking the good life, not just passively. One good deed does not make life good!"
The last bully spoke up, "You do not seek justice! You would rather be recognized for your good deeds than continue to act in accordance with what Cal and Chloe taught you! Didn't you listen in FNDN 201?"
"No", says Bobby. "I was not paying attention."
Bobby finds himself overwhelmed by the logic presented by the bullies. The bullies' decided the only just thing to do is to make Bobby face the consequences he refused to absolve someone else of. They all start beating up Bobby. The man on crutches even joins in and starts hitting Bobby with his crutches. Bobby wishes he had stepped in and sought justice like Cal had said.
