You decided to follow the crowd into the church. As you were about to cross the street you stumbled as you almost ran right into a horse that was dragging a carriage. “Hey watch it child! Where’s your mother?!” yelled the driver of the carriage. “Sorry sir!” you replied as you regained your balance. You jogged lightly to quickly get off the street and into the crowd entering the church.

You squeezed your way into the crowd entering the doorway of the church. There were so many voices at once that you couldn’t quite hear what any one of them said. You did hear some angry muttering about a tea shipment, taxes, and Samuel Adams. You remembered having learned about taxes. That’s when the government takes part of your income to use on public services like hospitals, schools, and things like that. But what does that have to do with tea? And why are these people so angry?

You had now entered the church and even though there was no fireplace or electric heating the air was warm just from the amount of people there. All the benches in the church were filled and there were people standing along the walls and between the benches.

What will you do?
