Pencil Sharpener
You decided that your regular sharpener was probably better, so you put the rusty sharpener away. You sharpened your pencil so much that it hurt to touch the tip. That should be enough. You started guessing on the test. What caused the American revolution? You decided to write that it was because of the invention of trains and something about steam. What are the four houses in the Harry Potter books? Maybe it was a house of straw, a house of wood, a house of bricks and Hogwarts. Yea, that sound about right.
You walked up to the teacher to hand in your test. He looked at your test and then back at you. “Did you sharpen your pencil before writing this? It is never too late to sharpen your pencil one more time”
What a strange thing to say you thought. “Yes, I did sharpen my pencil, but I used my regular one”. The teacher looked disappointed “Alright, find your seat and read until everyone else is done with their test”
Confused, you walked back to your desk.
