Rain was pouring down yet again, with strong with like always.

You were walking down the streets, searching for a bar to drink at until the rain went away.

Even though it was raining, the road was filled with people, most running towards inns, bars or shops, wanting to not get completely soaked.

After minutes of looking around and hundreds, or even thousands of rain droplets hitting your clothes, you finally found an open bar.

You rushed inside quickly, feeling the warm air quickly eliminating the cold. There were lots of people inside, all wet from the rain and warming up with some hot food, some talking to each other.

You walked up to the bartender, who was looking happy, most likely from the amount of customers the had.

"Uhm, excuse me."
You tried getting the bartender's attention, but he was distracted by the other people.

You walked closer.
"Excuse me!"

The bartender finally looked at you.

"Ah, sorry! I'm a bit overwhelmed by the amount of customers."
He still had a bright smile on his face.

"It's fine, can I get one beer?"

"Sure, I'll get it for you in a bit, stay there."

He started pouring beer, handing out dishes and taking orders for others. He was a happy young man, you smiled while looking at him enjoying his work.

In a few minutes, he poured a beer and handed it to you.
"Here you go, enjoy!"

"Thanks."
You took the beer and sat at a table in the corner of the bar, drinking it slowly while looking at everyone in the bar.

"Get off me!"
You suddenly heard a man yelling outside the bar. Curious, you finished your beer quickly and went outside.

The rain calmed down a bit, along with the wind. You went towards the place where you last heard the yell.

"I don't know man, isn't this going a little too far?"
You heard another man speaking relatively quietly to your right.

You started walking towards it a bit faster, curious to see what was going on. As you got closer, you heard weird sounds of something hitting another object.

You peeked your head from a wall and saw three men. One was behind two of them, one in the front was beating the other pretty badly, he could barely speak between the punches.

"Okay stop, man. He's done."

The one behind told the man throwing punches to stop, but he didn't stop until blood was all over the beaten guy's face.

He got up and looked at the one behind. You got a closer look at him, he looked like someone you definitely didn't want to mess with.

Big muscles, strong looking body and a terrifying face. A small, tiny part of you wanted to confront him, but the other wanted to run away immediately.

"I'm not done with him yet, shut your mouth."
The terrifying man turned back and grabbed a knife from his pocket.

"No, no, wait. That's gonna get you in serious trouble, man. Don't do it."

"I said shut your mouth, or you'll end up the same!"

The small man stepped back and turned around, wanting to not look.

At this point, you knew something bad was gonna happen, but you weren't sure if you wanted to do something to stop it or not.

You were scared of trying to stop the obviously stronger man, but you didn't want someone to get killed when you could do something to try and stop them from dying.

The man crouched down and pointed the knife at the poor guy.
"I told you what would happen if you failed."

"No.. please.."
He was talking while coughing blood up.

The man lowered his knife, ready to shove it up his throat. You stood behind, watching in fear.
