The Broken Arrow Inn

You roll onto your back and realize that your legs do not seem to be working. Evidently the blow to your back paralyzed you from the waist down. Holding your sword you watch as the figure approaches and reaches down to pick you up. You manage to shove the blade up towards his face but he easily dodges the swing. He leans in closer and bares his fangs. However, what he is unable to dodge is the swift motion of you bringing the sword back down. Your sword bites deep into his neck and sinks in like a hot knife in butter! The sword easily emerges from the other side effectivly removing the figures head from it's body. The body slumps over as the head rolls, then both are engulfed in a bright flash of light. When the light subsides, both the head and body are gone. You lay there for a moment trying to take in what has just happened and quickly surmize that you will not live for much longer. The blow to your back has done something and you can feel tiny things running all around inside of your body. Even though your legs do not work, you can feel things running inside of your blood. You know that your life is over. If only you had another chance to make a different choice...
