Everything Went Dark
It was settled: Elliana would sleep outside. The group gave her extra blankets so she wouldn't freeze and said goodnight. No one wished her luck. They were mostly silent. There was the risk of the wild animal killing her as well. That was another thing to worry about, but it was too late to change anything, so they all went to sleep.
The next morning, the group woke up to find Elliana gone, Addie gone, and Tatum gone. Both cannibals and the animal had attacked. Only Jack and Jordan are alive. They had won the game! But they weren't going back to the present yet. There was no portal or anything...weird. They shrugged it off and went to sleep. In the middle of the night, they woke up to a scream. They dashed outside and saw someone attacking some other pioneer. The two got competitive. How dare someone else be a cannibal? The person who was committing murder had stupidly tossed their knife to the side. Jack snatched it up and jammed it into their back.
They shrieked and rolled over, Jack ripped the knife out as they did so. He was about to stab them again when he saw who it was. It was Jennan?? Where did she come from? Eh. Who cares? Jack stabbed Jennan until she was dead. As soon as Jennan's eyes closed, Jordan and Jack felt really weird and dizzy. Their vision was replaced with a flurry of bright colors. The portal back to the present! It was open. Not knowing what to do, Jordan closed her eyes. All she could see now was the swirling portal. After a minute or so of more bright, flashy colors, the two were back at REV. They were in their own clothes again, which was really nice.
Jordan looked around for Jack, he was standing nearby. That was good. But where were the others? And then Jordan saw the six piles of clothing along with items their friends may have had on them at the time. There was no sign of their friends anywhere else. Jordan and Jack had killed their friends and were some of the people who ate them. Jack was speechless. Jordan shook her head. This can't be real. She closed her eyes. Then reopened them. No friends, only the clothing piles. Jordan closed her eyes again and everything went dark.
