Everything Went Dark

As Addie opened the flap of the tent to check outside to see if Elliana was out there or not, Evie and Emma had decided that enough was enough. They knew that Addie would realize who the cannibals were as soon as she saw that Elliana was gone. They needed to own up to what they did, even though everyone all kinda thought that this was all fake and their friends would be alive once they returned to REV.
Upon their confession, all three girls felt really weird and dizzy. Their vision was replaced with a flurry of bright colors. The portal back to the present! It was open. Not knowing what to do, Addie closed her eyes. All she could see now was the swirling portal. After a minute or so of more bright, flashy colors, Addie was back at REV. She was in her own clothes again, which was really nice.
Addie looked around for her friends, she only saw Evie and Emma. Where were the others? The other two were looking around so Addie also looked around some more and then she realized where their other friends were. There were five piles of clothing along with items their friends may have had on them at the time. There was no sign of their friends anywhere else. Evie and Emma had killed their friends. And Addie was one of the people who ate them.
Addie was horrified. She had thought this was all fake. As soon as Addie had seen the clothes, she started to run. She had to get away from the other two. They hadn't found the clothing piles yet, so they were probably confused as to why Addie was running. Her car was still in the parking lot. Addie got in it and drove away from the campus. She pulled over and parked on the side of the road to process her thoughts. She stayed there in silence for what felt like hours. And maybe it was, the sun began to set. She stayed in her car. The moon never rose, so as the hours went by, everything went dark.
