Everything Went Dark
There is no happy end.
Jordan was biking to REV. It was pitch black outside, but she knew the route. The street lights provided some help, but obviously not well enough. The occasional car would pass by, which did give some (only temporary) light. You may be asking: Doesn't Jordan have like a bike light or flashlight or something? The answer is yes. However, her bike light needs new batteries and she left her phone and flashlight at her house. Oops.
She had been riding her bike for about an hour. Yeah, so she probably had gotten lost and couldn't go back because she didn't have any idea where she was. She was lost. So she kept biking in the dark. It probably would have been smart to knock on someone's door to ask for help, but Jordan didn't want to. She could get to REV by herself just fine. But she didn't. Jordan kept biking. And by the time she realized where she was, it was too late to stop. She had somehow biked to the edge of a cliff. And there was no stopping her.
Jordan tried to swerve away but that just resulted in her falling sideways. She tried to grip onto her bike, but that made the fall worse. She was getting crushed by both the rocks on the cliff and her own bike. It really, really hurt. Her head smashed against a large rock, so by the time she had reached the bottom of the cliff, everything went dark.
