Everything Went Dark
Jennan is the only one remaining, yes. However, she is not the killer. In fact, Jennan also heard the metal clatter, the screams, the explosion, and the smell of smoke. She had ran to hide in the gym, determining that the dorms were an unsafe area to be in. Jennan had no weapons. She honestly picked one of the worst rooms to hide in. The gym was open, there was nothing to protect herself or hide under and behind. But it was too late to change hiding spots now, opening doors might attract whoever was the killer.
However, Jennan thought that the killer was either Emma or Jack. Neither of the two screamed. Jennan didn't know she was the only one left alive. If given the choice, not knowing that you were alone would be much better than knowing that you were actually the only one left and alone. She heard a second explosion. Jennan looked around the gym again. Oh! That's right! The bleachers! She could hide behind those.
Jennan dashed under one of them. She stayed silent, even though there was no one in the gym with her. That changed after a few more minutes. The gym door opened. Jennan froze in place. Whoever it was walked around the gym. Thankfully, they had loud footsteps. Jennan slowly creeped around the bleachers as whoever was walking near the bleachers to presumably check to see if Jennan was hiding under the bleachers.
Now, by something that was really not of anyone's fault and was legitimately random, one of the giant hanging speakers in the gym's cords snapped. All support beams fell due to the weight of the speaker. The speaker came crashing down.
Jennan looked up in shock. She was unable to move. The speaker landed on her. Everything went dark.
