Everything Went Dark

There could be someone on the other side of the door. Evie lightly knocked on the door. Evie and Jordan winced as the knocking made noise. But nothing happened. So the sound must have not been that loud? Either that or any spider creatures nearby decided that whatever they were doing wasn't worth checking out. After a few minutes, the door began to creak open! Huzzah! Someone was here! Well...maybe not someone. More like something. Turns out, one of the aliens had somehow figured out how to open the door from the inside without bursting through the door.

In a very cartoonish way, Evie and Jordan stared at the alien creature. The alien creature just stood there, seemingly staring at them back, but it couldn't see so I guess that isn't possible. Evie and Jordan looked at each other. "Oh no." They both said in unison.
