Everything Went Dark

Prying the door open would make too much noise. Evie pointed away from the door, silently hinting that it would be a good idea to go around the building to find an entrance. Jordan was about to agree when she noticed that there was a button near the door. Oh. You would probably just push it. Jordan tapped the button and whoa! It worked! Evie backed up a lot, just in case there was an alien thing inside. Jordan stepped back too, just not as much. The door slowly opened. Neither of the two moved, they wanted to make sure that nothing would charge out at them. Even when there was enough room for them to crawl under, they didn't move.

When the door had fully opened, the two were glad that they hadn't walked in. Turns out, a ton of people were currently inside. And being attacked. It was pure carnage inside Costco. It was like Black Friday, so some of the employees who were inside were probably used to it. And don't you worry, the door made a ton of noise! Why wouldn't you worry? Well, some cliché moments need to happen, so the door slowly creaking open while silent chaos is happening is an excellently cliché thing to happen. Wow, that was confusing to write.

Anyways, because the door had made noise, all of the alien spiders near the entrance had turned to face the direction of the sound, pausing their current destruction. When the door had opened all the way and stopped creaking, no one, not even the aliens, moved a muscle. Jordan went to take a step backwards. And then all hell broke loose.
