Everything Went Dark

They were committed to this. Tatum was coming with them. As the two went to pick Tatum up again, they noticed that she had totally stopped breathing. An innocent-looking snail was perched on her forehead. Addie and Emma looked at each other, dropped Tatum, and sprinted off in the other direction. Sorry, Tatum. Addie's phone started ringing. It was Jennan! Addie answered it. Turns out, Jennan had gone to the bathroom and hadn't checking her phone. Emma and Addie figured they could stop running and explained to Jennan that they had gotten in a car crash and only Emma, Addie, and Tatum had survived. Tatum was killed shortly after by the snail. Jennan didn't respond to that. All she did was ask for them to meet her at the Subway that was nearby. She was still discussing her location when she shrieked before going silent.

Was this snail magical or something?! How the hell did it get to Jennan when it was just near Emma and Addie?! Or maybe it wasn't magic. Maybe it was plot convenience...who knows.

Anyways, Addie and Emma weren't really sure what to do. They decided to try to find another way of getting around, even if they had to steal a car or something they would do it. Speaking of, a Grubhub car was driving near them. Awesome! They'll get free food. The two wave their arms towards the car. It pulls over. They open one of the car's doors. Hey would you look at that.
