She needed to cool down. Addie felt like she was taking things a bit too far. She decided to explore, and that's fine. It's only natural to want to explore your forever purgatory. Leaving the others behind, Addie followed her instincts and began to explore. She went everywhere. Warehouses, clubs, businesses, other people's homes. It was fun. It wasn't as fun because she was stuck as a mangled ghost for eternity, but at least she had the freedom to explore. While she was exploring, Addie had stumbled upon an exorcism. There wasn't any actual supernatural beings there other than Addie(the people were just being paranoid) but since Addie was there, the exorcism worked?! Addie was banished from her purgatory.
