Everything Went Dark
As she slowly walked around the room, she heard the door slam behind her. She was trapped inside this room. Yikes. Jordan felt the sides of the wall for a light switch. Which...wasn't very smart considering that this place didn't have electricity. Jordan was about to give up looking. She had walked around for a while and found nothing. And then her hand touched another doorknob! Okay! That was good!
Jordan excitedly twisted it and threw the door open. And oh my gosh. To her absolute delight, there was one of those super long dinner tables that had plates upon plates of dishes that all had pasta incorporated in them. Before sitting down and feasting, Jordan checked the room to ensure that no one would stop her from eating the pasta. After checking, she literally climbed onto the table with a fork in hand and began to eat.
But why would hse do that? This pasta is probably centuries old. You'd think the pasta would at least taste a little stale. And perhaps it did, but Jordan didn't care. She chowed down the pasta Scooby-Doo style. Like, practically inhaling the plates of pasta. It never occured to Jordan that this pasta was abandoned for a reason. The reason could be that the cook poisoned every single dish on the table and when someone fell over, clearly dead, the dishes were abandoned. I don't blame Jordan, she had no way of knowing this. Well, actually I do kinda blame her. Who willingly eats several servings of really old pasta that was found in an abandoned jungle temple?
Now, some of you may know that poison expires. And it did. So it's not the poison that killed her. What killed Jordan was the fact that she ate mini mountains of super old and stale and probably molding pasta! But at least she enjoyed the pasta before she died. As she put what would be her final bite of pasta in her mouth, Jordan felt woozy and really, really sick. Still standing on the table, Jordan wobbled back and forth before finally falling off the table. She never stood back up again and everything went dark.
