Everything Went Dark
Why would she wait? She could meet Jordan halfway...wherever she was coming from. Evie was certain she could find Jordan. She hopped off the car. Which was a stupid idea. Evie landed on a pile of shattered glass. She was wearing shoes, so it didn't hurt, but it definitely made a loud crunch sound. Yikes. That wasn't good. And wanna know what's worse? You're reading this still, so of course you do!! Evie hadn't noticed it, but there was a spider alien creature thing looting cars for sound nearby! How fun! And you bet that it heard Evie land on the broken glass.
It let out a loud shriek and charged towards her. Evie was frozen for a moment before she started to run. It was really difficult to run away from an bloodthirsty alien, stay quiet, and dodge the remnants of chaos. Evie couldn't outrun it. It leaped at her, which was terrifying. Having a tiny spider leaping at you is traumatizing enough. A huge spider charging at you and then jumping on top of you with the intention of eating you is much, much worse. So yea, the last thing Evie ever saw was a giant, alien spider that jumped at her. It crushed her upon impact. Everything went dark.
