Everything Went Dark
With all that has happened, it felt oddly blissful to know that it is all ending. Tatum didn't know if Jordan had felt the same, though. Tatum set her phone down. She was ready to go. Jordan followed Tatum's lead and put her phone down as well. Wordlessly, the two walked out of the gym and made their way to the location they were supposed to be. It was behind a curtain, which is probably why no one had discovered it. The door was unlocked. Tatum jiggled the doorknob but she didn't open it.
Jordan was standing a little away from the door. She was clearly very hesitant about this entire thing. And Tatum was too. However, she was just more accepting about this. She reached out and offered her hand out to Jordan. Tatum smiled at her. Jordan took her hand and smiled back. Tatum opened the door. It was completely black, it looked like a void. They couldn't hear or see anything. Tatum squeezed Jordan's hand and the two walked into the room together. Everything went dark.
