Everything Went Dark
Trying to get rid of the note right now would probably end in disaster. There was no way Jordan could take out the note without the guards seeing. So now she just had to suck it up and let her friends know what had happened. That would go fine. Her friends wouldn't get angry at all. Definitely not.
Okay, that is such a lie. They're going to be pissed.
Jordan hesitantly entered the room, she was planning on destroying the note when her friends were all asleep or preoccupied. And when she greeted the three and let them know that everything had gone according to plan, Jordan felt like she pulled it off. None of her friends were suspicious. And then the crumbled note fell out of the pocket. And it happened at the very moment the other three had happened to be looking at her.
After an awkward moment of silence, Addie asked,"Jordan? Is that the note you said you passed?"
"Well. I passed a note. Just not this one?" Jordan responded awkwardly, feeling the stares of her friends as she stared at the note on the ground. "There was another note?" Jennan wondered. "Not one you knew about. I wrote it separately."
"What did it say?" Jack said.
Jordan looked up and explained that the note she passed would save her and only her because for a rescue this important would require a lot more planning and back up. So Jordan, being the New Roman leader, would get rescued and then she would come back for the other three.
Jordan was right. Her friends were pissed. "Isn't the rescue going to take place during Jack's execution? He'd be dead before you could come back!" Jennan said. "And we'd either be killed or put under more security measures." Addie added. "Your plan is shit." Jack concluded.
Yea, the three totally beat Jordan to death. Everything went dark.
