Everything Went Dark
Jennan wasn't entirely sure on how she was going to actually get the note to the servant without any of the guards noticing. She paced back and forth, pondering all the many ways she could deliver the note. And then it hit her. With the craftsmanship of an expert, Jennan began to fold the paper. Her precision and concentration unfortunately attracted the attention of the guards. But Jennan was so focused that she didn't even realize she was being watched. And finally, after one more crease, it was complete. The ultimate paper airplane. The mere sight of it made anyone who saw it freeze and stare in wonder, which could be why no one moved to stop her from throwing it.
The airplane soared through the air with majestic grace. The wind even catered to the paper plane. The servant couldn't move. They were so focused on the plane's beauty that they didn't realize that it was going to hit them. It their face, slashing a huge paper cut into their skin. The servant stumbled and fell over, dying almost immediately from the shock of the hit. The servant's death had snapped the guards out of their trance. They didn't realize that the paper airplane contained a note, they had just assumed that Jennan had made such a good paper airplane as a murder weapon. Jennan was shot dead instantly. The airplane was given to the Four Horsemen, who had it displayed for all to come and visit. No one noticed what was written on it.
The rest of time went by as you would expect. About a week or so after Jennan was shot, Jack was publicly executed for attempted murder and treason(even though Apocalypse wasn't in existence when he had tried to kill Tatum). Evie had finally awoken from her coma. She now sits on the fourth throne along with Emma, Elliana, and Tatum. Jordan and Addie had given up their attempts of rebellion and pledged their allegiance to the Four Horsemen. Addie did attempt to restart the New Roman community, but was executed for treason. Jordan had helped Addie, but she was never caught. To this day, she is known as one of the best guards that ever protected the Four Horsemen.
Apocalypse's population grew over time, which allowed the nation to grow. New Roman groups did form occasionally, but Elliana and her armies quickly tore them down. It was as if that paper airplane had granted everyone at least some form of tranquility. Even though they were ruled by tyrants, the citizens of Apocalypse would be fine. All was good.
