Everything Went Dark
Might as well, right? It kinda looked like a slide. Elliana pushed herself down the declining vent. She started off going slow, which was fine because Elliana literally had no clue what was on the other end. But then she starting picking up speed, that's when she started to panic. Had she picked the wrong vent?! She finally saw a bright light at the end of the vent slide. It probably wasn't as bright as she saw it because the vents were really dark.
Oh no, what if an alien was in whatever room she was about to go in?! Elliana braced herself. Finally, she was out of the vent. The unfortunate part was that the vent had ended near the ceiling of a taller room, which meant that she would slam full force into the floor. And slam onto the floor she did, well not exactly. It was some storage room ,so there were tons of boxes and crates. Elliana crashed into a pile of boxes and tumbled down from there before landing face-first into the floor. A crash like that knocked the breath out of her.
As she laid there on the ground, Elliana's eyes had readjusted to the light of the room. She didn't feel like she could get up just yet. It felt like her body had just totally crumbled. Maybe she'll stand up in a minute...or two. Or maybe 45 minutes. Yea. Elliana blacked out. But after she woke up, she felt like she could get up now. But oh nooo. Her body was so so so soooooo sore. She wanted to crumble right back down, but she forced herself to grab ahold of some nearby crates to lift herself up. She looked around the room. There was another, much larger vent on the other side of the sea of boxes. It looked kinda like a doorway, which could mean it could be an exit. At this point, Elliana didn't want to do any more investigating here, so naturally, she made her way over to it.
