Everything Went Dark

The two left the dining hall and closed the door. Maybe the closed door would prevent people from walking back in. They stood outside the door in silence. "Let's go say hi to Jack." Jennan said, trying to offer a temporary distraction. Jordan nodded. They walked a small bit to the kitchen and pushed the door open.

Everything is going to be fine, Jennan said.

And for a moment, it was fine! The kitchen spotless. All dishes were clean. There was no evidence of anyone actually cooking in the kitchen. But the sink faucet was dripping, someone must've just used it. But where was Jack? He said he was going to go to the dining hall after he finished making his own food. Jennan took a hesitant step inside the room and noticed that the pantry door was askew. Jordan went over and turned the sink faucet all the way off. She hadn't noticed the pantry yet. Jennan quietly walked over to the pantry and as she got closer she heard some muffled thumps and choking sounds(shut up, as I'm editing this I realize that it sounds kinky shutupshutup). She pushed the door open with her foot.

"Leave the kitchen, Jordan." Jennan muttered.

Jordan heard Jennan but she wanted to see what Jennan was looking at, but Jennan's tone was serious. What should she do?
