Everything Went Dark

Elliana ignored Jordan's request. There was a chance she could still save her friend. Jordan let out a strangled scream before going totally silent. Elliana fired the gun a few times, but her shaking hands and terrible aim caused her to miss and hit the tree. The creature heard and leaped at Elliana and knocked her over. Even though her grip on the gun was very tight, the impact of being knocked over caused Elliana to drop the gun. She had to crawl towards it, but she still managed to grab it. Elliana tried to shoot at the alien spider thing again, but there were no more bullets. She had more rounds that Jordan gave her, but it would take too much time to reload the gun. Instead, Elliana threw the gun at the creature. The gun didn't do too much damage. The last thing Elliana saw was a sharp appendage pointed directly at her face. Everything went dark.
