Pick Your Poison 2 (Drugs)
The cop looks at you skeptically, but seems to buy your story. "Okay then son," he says. "You can go." You feel a twinge of guilt and shame as you walk back towards your house. You heave a sigh of relief as you step in your front door. You jog up the stairs and hop in bed. You can't seem to fall asleep, though. You feel too bad about what you did. You lied, you drank, you fought. Could this night get any worse? You lie in bed for hours, just thinking about all the mistakes you've made. You finally fall asleep. When you wake up the next morning, you decide to go visit your ex at the hospital. You don't know why, she did break up with you. But you just want to see how she's doing. She looked like she was hurt pretty badly. When you arrive at the hospital you ask the front desk for her room number. They give it to you and, as you ride up the elevator, you realize that you have no idea what to say to her, or if she'll forgive you. The elevator doors open as you reach her floor. The first thing you see is her family, pacing back and forth in the lobby.
You have 2 choices:
- You get back in the elevator as fast as you can, ride to the bottom floor and leave the hospital. If her parents ever found out what really happened, you would be dead beyond all reason.
- You think about going back down the elevator, but then take a deep breath and reassure yourself that you are doing the right thing, that you've lied long enough, and that the truth needs to come out.
