Sunlight streams in through your window. The deafening din of your alarm rouses you from your peaceful sleep. You reach for your phone and turn off the alarm. You sit up from your bed, wondering why you agreed to go to the beach this early in the morning.

You head to your washroom and splash some water on to your face. There, you feel much more awake now. You then spend some time brushing your teeth, cleaning up and making yourself look presentable.

The time now is 7:40AM. You agreed to meet your friends at the beach at 8:30 AM. You need to leave the house at 8AM in order to reach there in time. Your friends have threatened to ditch you if you do not make it to the beach on time.

Before you leave the house, there are some things that you can do.

Firstly, you can check the bag that you have packed yesterday. You are pretty sure that you already have all of the things that you need, but there is nothing wrong with checking it again. It is always helpful to ensure that you do not miss out on anything important. You estimate that this will take a couple of minutes.

Secondly, you can make a breakfast for yourself. You have a history of fainting when your blood sugar level dips too low. You are certain that when you reach the beach, you will not have the time to eat anything until lunch. Hannah, the organiser for the outing, has shown you the jam-packed schedule that she had planned. Thus, it is better to make sure that you do not faint when everyone is having fun. You estimate that doing so might take roughly 10 to 30 minutes.

Otherwise, you can leave the house now. There is nothing wrong with leaving the house early.
