Everything Went Dark

Jennan woke up in a weird hospital room. Evie was in a bed next to her, still unconscious. There was an empty bed on her other side. The hospital room was both old and new. It kind of reminded her of something dystopian...The door opened and in walked a doctor who looked at Jennan, then at their clipboard, then at some monitors on the other side of the room before beckoning her to follow them. Jennan looked back at Evie, determined she was safe where she was, and followed the doctor out.
