Everything Went Dark
Jennan was about to go hug Elliana but then the gym went black as the podiums sank back into the floor. When the lights went back on, Elliana had disappeared. There were bleachers for the remaining students to sit on. Once they were all seated, more lights turned on and they could all see a tennis court surrounded by glass walls. However, Elliana saw it differently.
She was taken to the bathrooms where she was ordered to change into her tennis uniform and take out her racket, which were all in her tennis bag. When she had finished, her other clothing was shoved in her tennis bag. The tennis bag was set alflame in the bathroom. Elliana, who was incredibly scared(she was shaking, like a lot), was forced to walk back into the gym. She didn't see what her friends were seeing.
Instead, she saw a tennis court with cement walls. Her friends faces were graffitied onto it, with the eyes unnaturally realistic. And very lifelike. The Radio announced on a loudspeaker that she would play a tennis match. He never said who her opponent was, yet that didn't matter because a small cannon popped out of the wall and began to fire tennis balls at her. It was a slow stream at first, it was practically easy for her. And then she missed. Everytime she hit a ball back over, the cannon shot less faster. But everytime she missed, the cannon shot faster. The eyes of her graffitied friends grew larger and the stares were extremely judgemental.
The stares freaked Elliana out and she couldn't concentrate as well. She continued to miss. The tennis ball cannon kept firing at her faster and faster. Elliana couldn't keep up. You would think the tennis balls would be her demise, wouldn't you? It is a fair guess, but it would be...duller than what actually happened. By now, all that Elliana could see were the irises of everyone's eyes. The intense eye contact almost made her faint. She dove out of the way of the tennis balls after being hit by a few. She crashed into one of the irises and found herself unable to move. She was sucked into the iris.
Elliana never had any chance to scream.
