A Night of Desperate Ladies

With the pandemic slowing down and things reopening, you decide to venture out for the first time in over a year. Some of your friends had mentioned a place that was fully open, and its only about 10 minutes away, so you decide to take the plunge.

When you pull up, you find that the parking lot that is almost overflowing. As you push open the door, you notice a sign for ladies night: no cover and half-priced draft beers for women. Inside is a decent sized bar, plenty of seating and several pool tables along the back. It looks like everyone else had a similar idea about going out, because it is absolutely packed! You find a spot at the end of the bar and order a beer, then look around to take in your surroundings.

The bar is the reason it was recommended that you come - its pretty large with a huge selection of beers. Past that, there is a makeshift dance floor that is crammed with people, which an ample amount of seating at tables around the perimeter. Finally, all the way back and around the corner, is a section with 6 pool tables. As you survey the crowd something catches your eye - it looks like a line on the other end of the dance floor. Unable to resist, you pick up your drink and wander over to take a look. Sure enough, its a line at the women's bathroom with at least 15 women in various states of distress. They all look annoyed, a couple of them are squirming around, and there is a woman at the end of the line who is openly holding herself.

Not wanting to attract attention, you find a seat is closer that offers a more direct view, but still not so close that you arouse suspicion. Sipping your drink, you do everything you can not to appear interested. As the minutes pass by, you notice that the line is going slow even by the already slow standard of normal bathroom lines. A couple minutes later, you hear the reason - there is only 1 working toilet. This is getting way too interesting to ignore! Thankfully, there's several other people looking in the direction of the line, so you won't seem too out of place.
