It's All You - The CYOA which fills you with courage (and pringles.. mmm..)
You stand up and shake his hand. He smirks, opening the portal again.
"Good choice. Welcome to the team, I'm Scythe Silvester."
Both of you enter the portal. It's not hell, it looks more like a city. Almost everything is yellow, but there's an aquamarine house with a "for sale" sign in front of it. You decide that's the house you like.
Scythe pats you on the head.
"I'm glad this feud is over, Buddy."
You smile, realizing you might like it here.
10 YEARS LATER
You wake up in your bed, having no memory of your dream.
The air smells like Ramen and Bravery. Two amazing things. You get out of bed and go into the giant yellow skyscraper. Scythe runs up to you and gives you a big hug. You hug back, happy to see him.
"G'morning, Scratch!"
"You too, Scythe." You respond.
You two stop hugging, and you walk into your office and sit at your desk. Your mind begins to wander, But this time it was only one thought.
"What would've happened if I went through the door..?"
Suddenly, A guy in futuristic armor walks in.
"You wanna know? I can help you with that. Follow me."
Standing up, you follow the guy to a time machine.
"You can go anywhere in the story, even forward with this machine."
You enter the time machine, but that's when the guy impales you with a sword.
"There's no going back from what you did, traitor. You should've followed us in the first place!"
He walks away, leaving you bleeding out on the ground next to a time machine. You might just have enough strength to make it in..
After crawling into the time machine, you only see two buttons in your reach. The beginning and the portal room.
