ASK AIDA - EXPO

You decline Jimmy’s offer and scramble into your car. You have a vague idea of where you are going. You know that your cousin lives about 9 hours North and that you will be able to find fuel along the way. However, your sense of direction is terrible and you realise that without your phone you cannot access maps.

You take a wrong turn somewhere. You drive all throughout the night and into the next day. As the morning comes you realise that you’re driving through old, decaying towns that burned through a long time ago. Whilst there isn’t a lot of anything left around you, you notice slight greenery in tiny patches of weeds. Soon, you start to see a sparse tree here or there. Until eventually you discover a small forest. The trees have no leaves and look spindly and strange like the ones at home.

As you admire the trees you realise that your car is losing traction. You haven’t been able to stop for fuel, and the tank is now empty. You pull over to the side of the road. What should you do?
