The Child of Myoboku

So here's a quick debriefing on how this story's going to go! You'll be playing a character by any first name you please, yours or otherwise. I'd also say this story is heavily related to DnD in terms of rolling for action and stats, and that's how this should be done. However, if you just want to speedrun the story, you don't have to do any of this. I'd suggest against it though, since it's more immersive when there's a chance of failure.
Write down your character's name and your element of choice, and then give yourself 10000 coins. Currency will be somewhat important in the game, I warn you.

Also, it might be prudent to pull up a dice roller. By searching up "dice roller" into Chrome, you'll receive an adequate one for your journey and adventure.

You'll have 20 inventory slots. I don't expect your backpack will be full anytime soon, but make sure you keep track of what you have...it make come in handy later on.

Your alignment will begin at zero, but making certain choices can tip the scales. Negatives are morally evil, positives are morally good. Said alignment can open up choices later on in the game!

You'll also have six armor slots, three weapon slots, and five hotbar spots. You should be writing all this down!

ARMOR: Headpiece, Chestpiece, Waistpiece, Bracers, Legpieces, Footwear
Note: Certain armor can boost stats!

WEAPONS: Large, Medium, Small
Note: A katana would be a large weapon, a gourd would be considered a medium one, and a kunai or shuriken would be considered a small one.

Food and rations may be given to boost stats for a period of time. Food will wear off once a battle is completed.

Speaking of battles, you'll face a great many trials in your journey as a shinobi. Your victory will be defined by your stats and what you can roll in battle "tests". Rolling higher than the opponent grants success, rolling the same grants success, rolling underneath grants a disadvantage and/or failure. If you happen to die, you'll be looped back to the beginning of the battle most of the time...unless you do something really stupid.

Now, for your statistics!
Your base HP will be 20 plus a d20. [[HP is self-explanatory--how much health you have and how much damage you can take before dying.]]
Your base TAIJUTSU will be 5 plus a d10. [[This only includes taijutsu attacks.]]
Your base NINJUTSU will be 10 plus a d4. [[This only includes jutsu.]]
Your base SPEED will be 7 plus a d10. [[This counts towards attack evasion or getting somewhere in time, or executing attacks faster.]]
Your base DEFENSE will be 6 plus a d6. [[This can be used to decrease damage if high enough, and raises resistance to certain elements.]]
Your base CHARISMA will be 10 plus a d10. [[Allows you to haggle with characters or shopowners or keep yourself out of trouble.]]
Your base LUCK will be a d6. [[It's luck. Even if you roll low, I guarantee your career won't suck that much.]]
Your base CHAKRA will be 100 [[Most jutsu will take up 10-20 chakra, regardless of your choice element.]]

Weapons and armor can buff and debuff your character, as well as foods, potions, previous attacks and companion's help. Injuries are a thing...this is as real as it gets. Any extraneous circumstances will be explained in the battle.

Lorewise, you won't know much about your character until later on! Regardless of your element, you'll follow the same storyline until your choices force a divergence. I wish you luck on your career, traveller.

Now, choose the first element you wish to master.
